It was a big year though I’m hard-pressed to recall every detail. I climbed the Black Dyke, the Whitney-Gilman, the Pomme d’Or, Polar Circus, the Weeping Pillar, Carlsberg Column, Slipstream, The Reality Bath, rode a motorcycle from Pennsylvania to Seattle in just over three days, climbed the north face of Mount Temple, tried to climb Side Street, failed to climb Nanga Parbat, failed to climb Everest, did a few good waterfalls above Chamonix and finished the year with a fine enchainment in the Alps.
